Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  2. Unfold puff pastry sheet and cut into 6 equal squares.
  3. In a small bowl, mix Parmesan, chives, sun-dried tomatoes, and sea salt.
  4. Place a heaping teaspoon of the cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Bring the four corners of each square up to the center, pinching to seal, forming a round bun.
  6. Place buns on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
