Ingredients

  • 2 cups Puffed Brown Rice Cereal
  • 1 cup Natural Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Cacao Powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup or Date Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt (plus flaky salt for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine puffed rice cereal, peanut butter, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated and well combined.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Melt the cacao powder with a small amount of coconut oil if needed, then pour over the mixture and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes until firm.
  8. Cut into 8 squares and serve.
