Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water; let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Combine flour, salt, olive oil, and yeast mixture; knead 8 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover dough, let rise 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Divide dough into 6 portions; roll each into a 6-inch rope, then braid together.
  5. Place braid in greased baking dish; cover and rise 30 minutes.
  6. Mix garlic, parsley, and sea salt; sprinkle over rolls.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with olive oil for dipping.
